Global Travel & Expense Manager at SCOR

Roberta Iorizzo is responsible for all aspects of business travel at SCOR. She successfully met the challenge of harmonising and streamlining Travel and Expense processes, rolling out a global travel policy across SCOR’s international offices, facilitating change and creating savings opportunities. By selecting a global TMC and implementing an online booking tool for travel and expenses, she achieved reduced spend, increased compliance, more transparent reporting and improved travellers experience.

A Doctor in Economics and Banking, graduated from the University of Siena with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a keen, strategic thinker, Roberta started her career in Finance in London in 1997 with 3M Plc where she worked as a Conso Accountant.

She then moved to Gen Re (Berkshire Hathaway Inc) with a Budgeting and Expenses role in 2000,  before finally joining SCOR in 2005.

After working within the SCOR London Finance Dept as a Reporting Accountant for 10 years, Roberta took a professional qualification in Human Resources and attended several coaching and Project managing trainings in order to lead a Global Travel Project in 2016. She has since moved to head the SCOR Travel Department and wears two hats being responsible, for the UK and globally, for all things Travel.
