Christoph Carnier has an experience of over 30 years in the business travel industry and also oversees the global travel, fleet program and internal meeting & event management of the Merck Group.
Grown up in a family owned hotel, worked for one of the largest travel agencies in Germany and studies procurement management at the European Business School.
Since 2014 he is also member of the board of directors of the VDR (German Business Travel Association) and became its president in 2019. In this function he is constantly in exchange with industry leaders as well authority representatives in Brussels and Berlin.
